WebDialogs and ThinkEngine Networks Partner to Deliver MultiMedia Conferencing Solutions
New "Triple Play" offering of Voice, Video, and Web Conferencing will expand Web Dialogs' Customer Base
May 22, 2007 Marlborough, MA and Billerica, MA - ThinkEngine Networks, Inc (AMEX: THN), a leading provider of TDM and IP capable conferencing bridges and media servers, announced today a strategic partnership with WebDialogs to create a "Triple Play" offering of voice, video and web conferencing services for WebDialogs' customers.
The integration of ThinkEngine's voice conferencing and WebDialogs' web and video conferencing creates a powerful multimedia conferencing solution targeted at Switchless Resellers. "Triple Play is an important new offering for WebDialogs," said Bala Sridhar, founder and executive vice president of business development for WebDialogs . "The combination of the three forms of conferencing, and their integration with unified provisioning and billing tools, creates a powerful, simple, and attractive solution for Switchless Resellers in the Collaboration marketplace."
"ThinkEngine Networks is a strong partner for us for several reasons," continued Sridhar. "First, their Reservationless Conferencing package, and the VSR1000 platform, are well respected in the voice conferencing market; additionally, the company is flexible and willing to really work with us on the integration of the services to ensure a seamless customer experience; and finally, of course, price is important, and we found their price per port to be very attractive."
"ThinkEngine's Reservationless Conferencing offering is a complete solution including application, database, operator infrastructure, and VSR1000 media server," said Mike Wixon, vice president of product management for ThinkEngine Networks. "As a result it provides a level of integration and provisioning that is hard to beat, and it also gives us the ability to provide a price per port for full featured audio conferencing that we believe leads the industry."
"We are pleased to partner with WebDialogs and worked very closely with their team to understand their needs for the voice conferencing piece of their unified "Triple Play" solution," continued Wixon. "Because we developed and control both the hardware platform and the application software for voice conferencing it gives us incredible flexibility to meet the needs of our partners. We believe this is one of the things that sets us apart when working with solution providers like WebDialogs and we look forward to the benefits of the tightly integrated offering."
